Hi, I’m Praveen!
I’m originally from Sri Lanka, where I began my career journey in unexpected places.
My creative side took off back in 2012, when I got my hands on an iPod Touch 4th gen and started making videos. Since then, my love for gaming, video editing, and even dabbling in music production has fueled my passion for storytelling and digital creativity.
In 2022, I made a leap of faith, moving to England to pursue my Master’s in Digital Marketing Management and chase my dream of a career beyond the corporate world.
When I first arrived in the UK for my studies, my batch mates from university—Lavin, Usbah, and KC—made me feel right at home. Their warmth and support were a huge comfort, and beyond that, they were a constant source of inspiration. Through our conversations and collaborations, they helped spark new creative ideas, especially in videography.
My journey in England began with my first job as an HR executive. While I was settling into my role, I was fortunate to work alongside Rosa Sanchez, one of the managers who saw something special in me. Recognizing my creative potential, she offered me the chance to explore video creation for the nurseries owned by the company.
This was a pivotal moment in my career, as it allowed me to step into the world of digital content creation, blending my passion for video editing with my professional background. It was a game-changer that set me on the path to where I am today.
Today, I’m proud to say that I’m the creative designer for the largest aquatics company in England. Here, I get to channel my creativity into projects that truly inspire me, and I’m excited to share some of that work with you in my portfolio. Enjoy exploring!
